Basic
Daily Itinerary
September 7-9:
Depart for
Paris
from
Boston
on our non stop flight.. Arrival in
Paris
in the morning on the 8th .
Dinner and breakfast on board our
flights. Transfer by our coach to Lisieux. Our
hotel is the 3 star Mercure Lisieux. Dinner
this evening in the hotel. We will
celebrate Mass at the shrine in Lisieux.
September 9 -10:
We shall be leaving Lisieux. Our first stop are the beaches of
Normandy
. We will visit the
American
Cemetery
at
Omaha
Beach
. Our next stop is in
Bayeux
along the coast. We will then continue on to
Tours
to visit the Shrine of
St. Martin
. Our final stop is the 3 star Novotel Poitiers Futuroscope. Dinner included
this evening.
September 10-13: We
take our short ride to
Lourdes
. In
Lourdes
we shall participate in the procession and shall have concelebrated Mass at the
Grotto as well as a guided tour in the footsteps of Bernadette and view an
interesting film about the history of the city. We have our own Mass to be
celebrated by Father John [this is true in every place save
Lourdes
for all Masses] You shall also
have time to use the baths and to have personal prayer time. Since we are
here for three nights, we will also visit a few of the interesting tourist areas
around
Lourdes
. We are in the 4 star hotel Imperial overlooking the river and a less than 5
minute walk to the shine. Dinners
are included each evening.
September 13-14:
We are going into the Grand Massif. We shall stay in the unique town of
Rocamadour
, which is nestled into the side of the cliff. The shrine church is dedicated to
a Hermit who inhabited this area. You will find this very interesting. Our hotel
is the three star Best
Western Beausite
. Dinner is included.
September 14-16: We
leave Rocamadour and go to the area of eastern
France
at the foot of the alps. Our stay will be in the suburbs of
Lyon
. We will visit Paray le Monial, Ars and
Lyon
. Mass at the important shrines in the area. Our hotel is the three star Mercure
Lyon Sud. Dinner is included each evening.
September 16-17: We
have a very full and enjoyable day. We leave
Lyon
and head north. Our first stop is Nevers, where we visit the site of the
Convent where Bernadette died. We will continue on to
Bourges
, which has a famous Cathedral. Our hotel in
Bourges
is the 3 star Novotel Bourges. Dinner
is included in the hotel.
September 17-20: We
are on our way to
Paris
. We will stay in the four star Pullman
Paris
Rive Gauche. We will visit all the places important in
Paris
, including Sacre Coeur, Rue du Bac, Notre Dame and others. We also shall have
dinner one night on a boat on the
Seine
. Non stop flight back to
Boston
on the 20th.

Transfers:

guide and, if the service is fine, your hotel personnel.
We include the tip for the waiters, but if you wish to add to that tip,
you may. $3.00 - $4.00 each a day for the driver and guide is recommended.

days prior, no refund.
Full
payment: Full payment is due no later
than May 6, 2009.
As per our policy, no change will be made to you for any cancellation fee
prior to the above indications. There are no hidden costs!
