Itinerary
September 30 –
October 1: Depart from JFK on our Alitalia Flight. We arrive in mid morning in
Palermo
, the Capital of
Sicily
. Transfer to our hotel. Free time and short visit to Cathedral of
Palermo
. Dinner included this evening.
October 1-3: We will
visit the famous Cathedral of Monreale, high above
Palermo
. We shall also visit the town of
Cefalu
, famous for its Moorish Architecture. We will learn the history of this
important
Island
. A city tour includes the
beach
of
Mondello
, the resort of
Palermo
. On our way to
Agrigento
, we visit the important Greek Ruin of Selinute. Dinner each evening.

October 3-4: We are
in the city of
Agrigento
. It is located on the southern coast of western
Sicily
. We will visit the best greek ruins in all of Europe at the Ruins of
Agrigento
. Dinner included this evening.
October 4-7: We pass
three lovely nights in the most beautiful of all cities,
Taormina
. Our hotel is built on the top of the hill and goes down to the beach. At the
bottom is a tunnel that leads one way to the beach and the other to the pool. We
will go to the top of
Mt.
Etna
, see a folkloristic music show with dinner, take a walking tour of the city and
have plenty of time to relax and explore.

7-9: We travel up the coast of
Italy
to
Sorrento
. We will visit the Isle of Capri and also include the
Amalfi Drive
and
Pompeii
. Our hotel is the magnificent

October 9-11: We leave
Sorrento
and stop at
Pompeii
before arriving in
Rome
. We will visit
Rome
for late afternoon and evening including “Roma di Notte” with all

. Our next day is short walking tour and lots of free time in
Rome
. We will have two very nice dinners included.

Transfers:

transportation between hotels, airports in

and sights not within walking distance of the hotel is provided.

Although service charges are included, it is customary to tip the driver, the

We include the tip for the waiters, but if you wish to add to that tip,
you may. A shipboard gratuity to your steward is customary.

Insurance:
You may wish to purchase trip cancellation insurance. Information will be

payment: Full payment is due no later
than May 30, 2009. As per our
policy, no charge will be made to you for any cancellation fee prior to the
